What is the name of the WRC hybrid system supplier?

The WRC hybrid system supplier was Compact Dynamics. The German company was appointed by the FIA as the exclusive supplier for Rally1 hybrid equipment from 2022 through 2024.

Compact Dynamics supplied a standardized plug-in hybrid unit to Toyota, Hyundai and M-Sport Ford. Using one supplier helped control costs, maintain sporting equality and simplify safety support rather than allowing manufacturers to develop competing systems.

The Rally1 unit combined a motor-generator, control electronics and battery storage. Kreisel Electric supplied the battery as Compact Dynamics’ partner, which is why the two names are sometimes confused. Compact Dynamics itself was responsible for the integrated hybrid system delivered to the teams.

The hybrid era ended after the 2024 season: FIA Rally1 regulations removed the plug-in hybrid units for 2025. That change does not alter the historical answer for the Rally1 hybrid programme, but it means Compact Dynamics is not a current WRC hybrid supplier today.
