What is the name of the wilderness explorer organization?

The name of the wilderness explorer organization is Wilderness Explorers.

In Up, Wilderness Explorers is a youth scouting organization whose members earn badges for completing activities and service tasks. Russell is trying to earn his final badge for assisting the elderly when he meets Carl Fredricksen.

The organization is fictional, but its structure resembles real-world scouting groups such as the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. That similarity can cause a common mix-up: Boy Scouts is not the organization named in the film. Wilderness Explorers is the specific group shown on Russell’s uniform and badge sash.

Russell’s scouting identity also drives the story. His eagerness to help Carl initially seems like a routine badge requirement, but it leads him to become Carl’s accidental stowaway and companion on the journey to Paradise Falls.
