Answer
Rumpelstiltskin
Answer
Rumpelstiltskin
Rumpelstiltskin creates the alternate reality in Shrek Forever After.
Rumpelstiltskin is the central villain of the 2010 fourth main Shrek film. He tricks Shrek into signing a magical contract that temporarily removes the day Shrek was born. The bargain changes history, producing a reality in which Shrek never met Donkey, Fiona, or many of the friends who shaped his life.
In the altered timeline, Rumpelstiltskin rules Far Far Away and keeps Fiona imprisoned. Shrek must understand the contract’s terms and rebuild his relationships before the magical change becomes permanent.
The character is based on the traditional European fairy-tale figure associated with impossible bargains and secret names. He is different from Lord Farquaad, the first film’s villain, and Prince Charming, the antagonist of Shrek 2 and Shrek the Third.
