What is the name of the villa that becomes Ezio's home in Assassin's Creed II?

The story behind the answer

Villa Auditore is the villa that becomes Ezio's home in Assassin's Creed II.

The villa stands in Monteriggioni, a fortified Tuscan town controlled by the Auditore family. After Ezio leaves Florence, his uncle Mario brings him there and begins training him in the Assassin way. The building then becomes a headquarters and a place the player can improve.

Ezio can renovate Monteriggioni by restoring shops and services, which increases the town's income. The villa also contains family rooms, a study, a collection area, and other spaces connected with Ezio's equipment and progress.

The name is sometimes confused with the location name. Monteriggioni is the town, while Villa Auditore is the Auditore family residence within it. The game also features famous real-world locations such as Florence's Palazzo Vecchio, but those are not Ezio's home base.
