Bubbly Basin is the underwater town introduced in Pokémon Pokopia’s first paid DLC.
The location arrived as part of Part 1 of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass. The expansion adds a new area to explore, along with additional Pokémon and furniture for the player’s developing settlement.
Bubbly Basin became available on August 5, 2026. Access to its underwater setting is connected to a free update that adds the move Dive, allowing the player to travel beneath the waves and investigate the town.
The name can be confused with a general water-themed location, but Bubbly Basin is the official proper name. It is also distinct from the later Expansion Pass parts: Part 2 adds accessories, Pokémon, and furniture without a new town, while Part 3 is planned to introduce another town in 2027.
