Clouds is located in the Megabuilding H8 complex in Japantown, within Night City’s Westbrook district. It operates as a braindance and doll venue, where customers interact with performers whose behavior is shaped by programmed emotional profiles and the expectations of the club’s management.
The location is central to V’s search for Evelyn Parker and introduces important themes involving consent, exploitation, artificial intelligence, and corporate control. Clouds should not be confused with the Afterlife, Rogue’s bar, or Totentanz, the Maelstrom club associated with a different storyline. The club’s name refers to the idealized experiences it sells rather than to a conventional music venue.
