Kate Brewster is the future wife of resistance leader John Connor in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
Claire Danes plays Kate, who begins the film as a veterinarian and former acquaintance of John. She becomes involved in the conflict when the T-X targets her and John. The characters eventually reach a military facility that serves as a shelter when Judgment Day begins.
Kate is also the daughter of Lieutenant General Robert Brewster, whose Cyber Research Systems organization is connected to the military computer system that becomes Skynet. This relationship makes her important to the film’s explanation of how the catastrophe unfolds. Kate should not be confused with Catherine Weaver, a character from Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, or Dani Ramos, the central human figure in Terminator: Dark Fate.
