What is the name of the talking tree-like Ent who leads the attack on Isengard in Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings?

The story behind the answer

In J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings, Treebeard leads the Ents’ attack on Isengard.

Treebeard, whose Elvish name is Fangorn, is one of the oldest beings in Middle-earth. He meets Merry and Pippin in Fangorn Forest after they escape from the Orcs who captured them.

The hobbits help persuade him that Saruman’s industrial destruction of forests requires action. At the Entmoot, the Ents deliberate at length before deciding to march on Isengard. Their attack destroys much of Saruman’s stronghold and floods the works built by his servants.

Treebeard is not a normal tree and is not the same as an Entwife. Ents are a speaking people who shepherd trees, while the Entwives were their lost female counterparts. Quickbeam is another Ent who participates in the assault.
