The spin-off series set at Godolkin University is Gen V. It follows young superheroes—known as “supes”—attending the Vought-run Godolkin University School of Crimefighting.
Gen V expands The Boys universe from corporate superhero satire into a college setting, where students compete for rankings, publicity, lucrative contracts, and a possible place in The Seven. The university was founded by Thomas Godolkin, a Vought-aligned figure involved in researching and developing supes.
The series premiered on Amazon Prime Video in September 2023. Its story connects directly with The Boys through characters, Vought’s experiments, and events that affect the wider franchise. A common mix-up is confusing Gen V with The Boys: Diabolical, which is also a spin-off but an animated anthology rather than the Godolkin University drama.
