What is the name of the space station in Metroid Fusion?
Answer
B.S.L. Research Station
Answer
B.S.L. Research Station
The space station in Metroid Fusion is the B.S.L. Research Station. The abbreviation refers to Biologic Space Labs, the organization operating the facility near the planet SR388.
The station is divided into six simulated environments, each designed to study different forms of alien life. These include SRX, which recreates SR388, along with tropical, volcanic, aquatic, frozen, and nocturnal sectors. The varied habitats give Fusion its distinctive mixture of industrial corridors and hostile ecosystems.
The crisis begins when X parasites brought back from SR388 infect the station’s organisms and crew. One X becomes the SA-X, a near-perfect copy of Samus carrying her full arsenal. Samus must investigate the station while dealing with both the spreading infestation and the threat of being hunted by her own duplicate.
The B.S.L. also hides a restricted laboratory containing Metroid research, revealing that secret biological weapons work continued after the species was thought to be extinct. The station is ultimately set on a collision course with SR388. Ceres Space Colony, one of the wrong options, belongs to Super Metroid instead.
