What is the name of the Soviet agent in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull?

The Soviet agent in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is Irina Spalko. A Soviet KGB colonel and scientist, she leads the mission to recover the crystal skull and exploit its powers.

Spalko is the film’s principal antagonist and commands the Soviet forces searching for the skull in Peru and the Amazon. She believes the artifact can provide extraordinary knowledge and help the Soviet Union develop powerful forms of mind control. Her scientific reputation and alleged psychic abilities make her a distinctive villain in the Indiana Jones series.

Colonel Antonin Dovchenko is a common mix-up because he is also a Soviet officer and Spalko’s formidable subordinate. Mutt Williams and George “Mac” McHale are allies or former allies of Indiana Jones, not Soviet agents. Cate Blanchett portrays Spalko, who meets her fate at Akator when the crystal-skull beings overwhelm her with more knowledge than her mind can contain.
