The ship used by Connor in Assassin's Creed III is the Aquila.
Connor, whose Mohawk name is Ratonhnhaké:ton, commands the Aquila during naval missions set around the Atlantic coast in the era of the American Revolution. The vessel allows him to intercept enemy ships, protect allied craft, and travel through maritime areas connected to the game's wider conflict.
The Aquila is a brig, and its naval missions introduced a major ship-combat component to the main series. Players can improve the vessel's offensive and defensive capabilities, making later encounters more manageable.
The name is easy to mix up with the Jackdaw, Edward Kenway's ship in Black Flag, and the Adrestia, Kassandra or Alexios's ship in Odyssey. Each belongs to a different protagonist and historical period.
