Bayek and Aya found the Hidden Ones in Assassin’s Creed Origins.
The Hidden Ones emerge after Bayek and Aya confront the Order of the Ancients, a secret organization manipulating political power in Ptolemaic Egypt. Their new group is designed to protect ordinary people and oppose oppressive rulers from the shadows.
Origins presents the Hidden Ones as the direct predecessor of the later Assassin Brotherhood. Its members adopt principles and practices that become recognizable across the series, including secrecy, targeted resistance, and the use of hidden blades.
The Order of Ancients is the major opposing organization in Origins, so it is a frequent answer mix-up. The Templars develop from that ideological tradition much later in the series’ fictional chronology. The Levantine Brotherhood refers to the earlier Assassin organization associated with Altaïr in the Third Crusade, not the group founded by Bayek and Aya.
