Scratte is the female saber-toothed squirrel pursued by Scrat in Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs.
Scratte appears in the third main Ice Age feature, released in 2009. Scrat initially encounters her while both characters are competing for an acorn. Their rivalry develops into a comic relationship built around theft, pursuit, and competing priorities.
