What is the name of the role played by Natalia Dyer in Stranger Things?

Natalia Dyer plays Nancy Wheeler in Stranger Things. Nancy is one of the series’ central teenage characters and the oldest child of Karen and Ted Wheeler.

At the beginning of the series, Nancy is a conscientious Hawkins High student dating Steve Harrington. Her life changes after her friend Barbara Holland disappears at Steve’s house. While searching for answers, Nancy becomes involved with Jonathan Byers and discovers that Hawkins is connected to the Upside Down and the creatures emerging from it.

Nancy develops from a seemingly conventional student into a determined investigator and fighter. She helps uncover the truth about Barb’s disappearance, enters the Upside Down, confronts the Demogorgon, and later investigates the Mind Flayer and Vecna. Her interest in journalism also becomes an important part of her character, especially during the Hawkins Post storyline in season three.

Dyer’s breakthrough performance on the series made Nancy her best-known role. She has also appeared in films including Yes, God, Yes, Velvet Buzzsaw, and Things Heard & Seen.
