Jacob and Evie Frye lead a gang called the Rooks in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
The Rooks are a street gang formed in London by Jacob Frye and later supported by his twin sister, Evie. They help the Frye twins challenge the Templar-backed control of neighborhoods during the game’s 19th-century setting.
The campaign takes place in London in 1868, near the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. The twins travel through districts including Whitechapel, the City of London, Westminster and Southwark. Players can expand the Rooks’ influence by completing activities and defeating rival gang members.
The name can be confused with the Assassins themselves or with the Blighters, the opposing gang controlled by the Templars. The Rooks are an allied criminal network, not a separate historical Assassin faction. Their name refers to a group of crows, fitting the game’s Victorian street-gang theme.
