What is the name of the protagonist in Assassin’s Creed Mirage?

The protagonist of Assassin’s Creed Mirage is Basim Ibn Ishaq.

Basim is a street thief in ninth-century Baghdad who becomes a Hidden One under the guidance of Roshan. The game follows his training and missions as he develops from an inexperienced thief into a capable Assassin.

Mirage is set mainly in Abbasid Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age. Its districts include the Round City, the Abbasiyah scholarly quarter, Harbiyah, and the industrial area of Karkh. The game emphasizes social stealth, parkour, investigation, and targeted assassinations.

Basim previously appeared as a major character in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, whose events occur later in the series’ internal chronology. Eivor is Valhalla’s protagonist, while Shay and Arno belong to Rogue and Unity respectively.
