What is the name of the Pokémon professor in Pokémon Pokopia?

The Pokémon professor in Pokémon Pokopia is Professor Tangrowth.

Professor Tangrowth is a Tangrowth who studies the post-apocalyptic environment. After Ditto discovers a world abandoned by humans, it meets Tangrowth, who has taken responsibility for investigating the damaged landscape and understanding why humans and Pokémon disappeared.

This character differs from the human professors who introduce players to the main Pokémon role-playing games. Professor Oak, Rowan, and Juniper are established human researchers from other Pokémon stories, while Professor Tangrowth is literally a Pokémon and is unique to Pokopia’s setting.

Professor Tangrowth also helps frame the game’s mystery. Together with Ditto, the character works to restore habitats and investigate clues left behind by humanity, making the professor important to both the ecological gameplay and the wider plot.
