Everest is the PAW Patrol pup who serves as a mountain rescue specialist. She is a Siberian Husky who helps the team in snowy and icy environments.
Everest uses a snowplow vehicle and equipment suited to glaciers, avalanches, steep slopes, and winter weather. Her introduction expanded the team’s rescue coverage beyond Adventure Bay and gave the series a dedicated cold-weather specialist.
Everest is sometimes confused with Rex because both are members of the wider PAW Patrol lineup introduced for specialized settings. Rex is associated with dinosaur rescues, while Everest’s defining environment is snow and mountains. Everest’s name is a reference to Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain above sea level.
