Zuma is the chocolate Labrador in PAW Patrol. He is the team’s aquatic rescue specialist and wears an orange uniform while operating watercraft and underwater equipment.
Zuma is one of the original pups introduced in the first season. His cheerful personality and love of water are recurring features, and many of his missions involve boats, flooded areas, or rescues at sea.
The breed is sometimes misidentified as a chocolate Golden Retriever because both dogs can have brown coats. Zuma is specifically described as a chocolate Labrador Retriever. His orange equipment also helps distinguish him visually from other original pups, including Marshall in red, Rocky in green, and Rubble in yellow.
