Dive is the new move used to explore underwater Bubbly Basin in Pokémon Pokopia.
The move arrived in a free update connected with Bubbly Basin, Part 1 of the paid Expansion Pass. It lets players travel below the waves and reach the expansion’s underwater town, creating a new way to explore beyond the original land-based habitats.
Dive has appeared in earlier Pokémon games as a move associated with underwater travel. In Pokopia, its purpose fits the game’s exploration and town-building structure: it opens access to a new environment rather than serving primarily as a conventional battle technique.
Surf and Water Gun are also familiar water-related Pokémon moves, but they are not the move identified with underwater exploration in Bubbly Basin. Whirlpool is another established water move, yet the official expansion description specifically names Dive.
