What is the name of the main playable heroine in Assassin's Creed Liberation?

The story behind the answer

Aveline de Grandpré is the main playable heroine in Assassin's Creed Liberation.

Aveline is a French-African Assassin who operates in and around New Orleans during the eighteenth century. The game follows her efforts against Templar influence while she navigates the social and political pressures of colonial Louisiana. She is trained by Agaté, the leader of the local Assassin Brotherhood.

Liberation's defining gameplay feature is Aveline's ability to use three disguises: Assassin, Lady, and Slave. Each identity provides different movement options, social access, weapons, and restrictions. The disguises are part of the narrative as well as the gameplay, reflecting Aveline's need to move through sharply divided colonial society.

Aveline is not the protagonist of Assassin's Creed III, although the two games share a broad historical era and regional context. Élise de la Serre belongs to Assassin's Creed Unity, while Evie Frye is one of the protagonists of Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
