What is the name of the magical school attended by Newt Scamander in J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts world?

Newt Scamander attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts world.

Newt is the fictional magizoologist whose textbook, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, is associated with the Harry Potter universe. The Fantastic Beasts films expand his story and show his work with magical creatures in the twentieth century.

Newt was a Hufflepuff student at Hogwarts. He was expelled before completing his education, although Albus Dumbledore defended him. The films establish that Newt later became an expert in magical creatures and traveled widely.

Beauxbatons and Durmstrang are also wizarding schools in the wider setting, but they are not Newt’s school. Ilvermorny is a North American school introduced in Rowling’s expanded Wizarding World material.
