The London gang led by Jacob Frye in Assassin's Creed Syndicate is called the Rooks.
Jacob forms the Rooks with his twin sister Evie while they challenge Templar control of London during the Industrial Revolution. The gang helps the Fryes seize territories, disrupt criminal operations, and weaken the Blighters, a rival gang aligned with the Templars.
The Rooks are named after the black bird, which also fits the game's visual atmosphere and themes of urban surveillance. Syndicate allows players to recruit and upgrade gang members as the Fryes expand their influence across Victorian London. Evie and Jacob share the campaign but have different abilities and priorities.
