What is the name of the Lamborghini Aventador 50th anniversary edition?

The story behind the answer

The Lamborghini Aventador’s 50th-anniversary edition was called the LP 720-4 50° Anniversario. It commemorated Automobili Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary in 2013 and was based on the standard Aventador LP 700-4.

The special edition received a revised engine calibration that raised output to 720 PS. Lamborghini also fitted enlarged front air intakes, a revised aerodynamic splitter, side flaps, a redesigned rear section and a larger diffuser to improve cooling and aerodynamic performance.

The signature presentation colour was Giallo Maggio, a bright yellow finish with reflective particles, combined with matte black detailing. The interior included special trim and a 50th-anniversary emblem, distinguishing the car from ordinary Aventador models and from later performance variants.

Production was limited to 200 examples worldwide: 100 coupés and 100 roadsters. That limited run is why the name is often shortened informally to “50 Anniversario,” but the full model designation is LP 720-4 50° Anniversario. The Aventador S, SV and SVJ were separate versions, introduced for different performance or model-line purposes.
