What is the name of the Infinity Stone that controls time?

The Time Stone is the Infinity Stone that controls and manipulates time. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it is green and is housed inside the Eye of Agamotto, the mystical relic associated with Doctor Strange.

The Stone allows its user to alter the flow of time, view possible futures, and create time loops. Doctor Strange famously uses it against Dormammu in Doctor Strange, trapping the interdimensional being in a repeating loop until Dormammu agrees to leave Earth alone. The Stone later becomes one of the six artifacts sought by Thanos.

The other Stones govern different fundamental aspects of existence. The Space Stone enables teleportation and is contained in the Tesseract, while the Power Stone amplifies destructive energy. The Soul Stone, Mind Stone, and Reality Stone have their own distinct functions. In Marvel Comics, these artifacts are generally called Infinity Gems, and their colors and mythology differ from the MCU versions, which can cause confusion.
