Beth is assigned to Dr. Steven Edwards, while Noah explains that the hospital’s system is coercive and that very few people are ever allowed to leave.

The hospital is sometimes confused with a real Atlanta medical institution or with other survivor settlements in the series. In The Walking Dead, Grady Memorial is a fictionalized setting created for the television story.
