What is the name of the hip hop group that includes members Phife Dawg and Q-Tip?

The hip-hop group that includes Phife Dawg and Q-Tip is A Tribe Called Quest.

The group formed in Queens, New York City, and its classic lineup included Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, DJ and producer Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Jarobi White. Q-Tip and Phife Dawg were childhood friends, and their contrasting voices became one of the group's defining musical strengths.

A Tribe Called Quest emerged as part of the Native Tongues collective, a creative network that also included the Jungle Brothers and De La Soul. Their music blended jazz samples, inventive bass lines, conversational rhymes, and thoughtful observations about identity, relationships, society, and Black life.

Their influential albums include People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm, The Low End Theory, and Midnight Marauders. The group initially used names including Crush Connection and Quest before adopting A Tribe Called Quest in 1988. Their final album, We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service, was released in 2016 and included posthumous contributions from Phife Dawg, who died that year.
