What is the name of the fictional school in C.S. Lewis’s The Silver Chair?

Experiment House is the fictional school in C.S. Lewis’s The Silver Chair. Jill Pole attends the school at the beginning of the novel and meets Eustace Scrubb there.

The school is portrayed as a harsh and disorderly institution where bullying is widespread. Jill and Eustace escape into the school’s grounds, reach a doorway into Aslan’s country, and receive a mission to find the missing Prince Rilian.

Experiment House is not located in Narnia; it is an English school in the modern world of the story. This distinction helps separate it from Cair Paravel, the royal castle of Narnia, and from the underground kingdom where much of the adventure takes place.
