Callum Lynch is the fictional protagonist of the 2016 Assassin's Creed film.

Michael Fassbender plays Callum Lynch, a modern man who is recruited by Abstergo Industries and placed in the Animus. The machine lets him experience genetic memories inherited from his ancestor, Aguilar de Nerha, an Assassin active in 15th-century Spain. Callum's experiences connect the modern storyline with the historical conflict between Assassins and Templars.

The film is not a direct adaptation of one particular game campaign. Instead, it introduces original characters and a new historical protagonist while using familiar series concepts, including the Animus, genetic memory, Abstergo, and the Assassin Brotherhood.
