What is the name of the estate that serves as Ezio's base in Assassin's Creed II?

The story behind the answer

Villa Auditore is the estate that serves as Ezio's base in Assassin's Creed II.

The villa stands in the Tuscan town of Monteriggioni and becomes Ezio's home after he leaves Florence. His uncle Mario Auditore controls the estate and helps introduce him to the Assassin cause. The property functions as a hub where players can manage renovations, equipment, shops, and collected items.

Restoring the surrounding settlement is an important progression system. Upgrades generate income and improve the town, giving the player a practical reason to return between missions. The estate also contains family rooms and historical documents that expand the fictional Auditore story.

Villa Auditore is not the same as Monteriggioni itself. Monteriggioni is the fortified town, while Villa Auditore is the prominent estate within it. The nearby fortress architecture is inspired by real medieval and Renaissance defensive settlements in Tuscany.
