Tyreese Williams dies in the episode “What Happened and What’s Going On.” It is the ninth episode of The Walking Dead’s fifth season and the show’s mid-season premiere after “Coda.”
The episode follows Tyreese, Rick, Michonne, Glenn, and Noah as they investigate Noah’s ruined family home near Richmond, Virginia. While looking at photographs, Tyreese is bitten by Noah’s reanimated younger brother.
