Senu is Bayek's eagle companion in Assassin's Creed Origins.
Bayek uses Senu to scout locations, identify enemies, mark objectives, and survey the Egyptian landscape from above. This bird-based reconnaissance system expands the series' earlier Eagle Vision concept into a controllable companion that can actively explore an area before Bayek enters it.
The names of bird companions vary across later games, which makes this detail easy to mix up. Ikaros belongs to Assassin's Creed Odyssey, while Synin is the raven associated with Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Shaun Hastings is a human Assassin and analyst, not an animal companion. Senu also has narrative importance because she accompanies Bayek throughout his travels and reflects the game's emphasis on wildlife, exploration, and ancient Egyptian environments.
