What is the name of the Destiny 2 expansion released in September 2018?

The story behind the answer

The Destiny 2 expansion released in September 2018 was Forsaken. Bungie released it on September 4, 2018, making it the game's third expansion and the beginning of Destiny 2's second year of ongoing content.

Forsaken centers on the death of Cayde-6, a popular Hunter and one of the game's major characters. The player's Guardian pursues the Awoken prince Uldren Sov and the Scorn who killed him, creating a revenge-driven story set largely in the Tangled Shore and the Dreaming City. The expansion also introduced the Scorn enemy faction, the Gambit activity, and a new raid, Last Wish.

The main mix-up is with other Destiny 2 expansions. Beyond Light arrived in 2020, The Witch Queen in 2022, and Shadowkeep in 2019. Forsaken was originally premium downloadable content, although parts of its content were later vaulted or repackaged as the Forsaken Pack as Bungie changed Destiny 2's content model.
