What is the name of the British version's investment negotiation room in Dragon's Den?

The story behind the answer

The investment negotiation room in the British version of Dragon's Den is called the Den.

Entrepreneurs enter the Den to present their businesses to the investors and explain how much money they want, what share they are offering and how the company could grow. The name extends the programme's dragon imagery and is central to its branding.

The room is not simply a conventional boardroom. Its layout places the entrepreneurs in front of the seated Dragons, creating a formal setting for questions, valuation discussions and offers. A pitch can end with one or more investments, or with no deal.

International adaptations often change the imagery and terminology. The American version, Shark Tank, uses the name “Tank,” but that is not the canonical term for the British series. In the United Kingdom edition, the investors meet entrepreneurs in the Den.
