The protagonist of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is Eivor.
Eivor is a Viking raider who leaves Norway with allies and helps establish a settlement in ninth-century England. The player can choose a male or female presentation for Eivor, but the character’s name remains Eivor. The game’s narrative connects Eivor to the Hidden Ones and to the larger conflict involving the Order of Ancients.
Valhalla was released in 2020 and includes regions of Norway and England. Settlement development, raids, alliances, exploration, and customizable equipment form major parts of the campaign. Eivor’s story also connects to the modern-day storyline through Layla Hassan.
Basim and Sigurd are important characters, but neither is the player character. Basim is a Hidden One with a major role in the plot, while Sigurd is Eivor’s adoptive brother and a key companion. The selected presentation does not create two separate protagonists.
