Eivor is the protagonist of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, which is set largely in Anglo-Saxon England.
Eivor is a Viking raider who leads a Norse clan from Norway to England during the ninth century. The player can choose a male or female presentation for Eivor, but the character's name remains Eivor. This gender option is why some references describe the protagonist with different appearances while still identifying the same central character.
Basim Ibn Ishaq is an important Hidden One whom Eivor meets in England, but he is not the player character for most of the campaign. Sigurd is Eivor's adoptive brother, and Alfred the Great is a historical ruler encountered in the story.
Valhalla was released in 2020. Alongside exploration and settlement-building, it uses a narrative connection to the broader Assassin's Creed mythology through the Hidden Ones and Isu-related revelations.
