Ratonhnhaké:ton is known as Connor in Assassin's Creed III.
Connor is the adopted name used by Ratonhnhaké:ton, a Kanien'kehá:ka man who becomes an Assassin during the American Revolution. He is the son of Haytham Kenway and the grandson of Edward Kenway, linking the three characters across different historical periods in the series. Connor's story includes his efforts to protect his community and oppose Templar plans in colonial North America.
Assassin's Creed III was released in 2012. The game features Boston, New York, and a large frontier area, while its modern-day sections continue Desmond Miles's story. Connor's Indigenous identity and birth name are important parts of his characterization, so answers that name only another Kenway are incorrect. Haytham is a playable character during the opening portion, but Connor remains the game's principal protagonist.
