What is the name of the Assassin protagonist in Assassin's Creed Revelations?

The Assassin protagonist in Assassin's Creed: Revelations is Ezio Auditore.

Revelations is the final main game focused on Ezio's life. He travels to Constantinople, the capital of the Byzantine Empire, to investigate the legacy of Altaïr and search for keys connected to the Masyaf fortress. The story therefore links Ezio's later years with the earlier protagonist's memories.

Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad also appears as a playable character in historical memory sequences, which is why the answer can be confusing. The game's modern-day storyline continues to involve Desmond Miles, but Desmond is not the principal historical Assassin controlled throughout the main Constantinople campaign.

Revelations was released in 2011 and concludes Ezio's arc before the series moves to new protagonists and periods. Its Ottoman setting, older Ezio, and recurring Altaïr sequences make it one of the franchise's most explicit connections between separate generations of Assassins.
