What is the name of the Assassin Brotherhood's predecessor in Assassin's Creed Origins?

The Hidden Ones are the Assassin Brotherhood's predecessor in Assassin's Creed Origins.

The organization is formed by Bayek and Aya during the first century BCE. Its members oppose the Order of the Ancients, a powerful secret society whose activities drive much of the game's plot. The Hidden Ones operate through secrecy, intelligence, and targeted attacks against influential enemies.

Origins uses this organization to connect its ancient Egyptian story with the later Assassin Brotherhood seen in other games. The Hidden Ones have a creed, hidden bases, ranks, and methods that foreshadow the medieval Assassins.

The group should not be confused with the Order of the Ancients, which is its principal enemy in Origins. The term “Assassins” is also commonly used for the later organization, but “The Hidden Ones” is the specific name given to the earlier group established in the game.
