What is the name of the Assassin Brotherhood's mentor in Assassin's Creed III?
Answer
Achilles Davenport
Answer
Achilles Davenport
The Assassin Brotherhood's mentor in Assassin's Creed III is Achilles Davenport. Achilles is a retired Assassin who trains Ratonhnhaké:ton, later known as Connor, and guides him during the American Revolution.
Achilles once led the Colonial Brotherhood, but years of losses and the collapse of his network left him isolated at Davenport Homestead. Connor seeks him out after his village is attacked. Although Achilles initially refuses to return to active service, he eventually gives Connor the Assassin robes, teaches him the Brotherhood's methods, and helps establish the homestead as a base.
The character is fictional, though the game places him among real historical events and figures. Achilles's surname comes from the homestead where he lives, named after him in the game. He should not be confused with Connor's father, Haytham Kenway, who is a Templar Grand Master, or with William Miles, a modern-day Assassin leader.
