What is the name of the Assassin Brotherhood mentor in Assassin's Creed II?

Mario Auditore is the Assassin Brotherhood mentor who trains Ezio in Assassin's Creed II. He is Ezio's uncle and serves as the leader of the Monteriggioni branch of the Italian Assassins.

Mario introduces Ezio to the hidden conflict between Assassins and Templars after the destruction of the Auditore family's position in Florence. He helps Ezio understand the Brotherhood's methods and provides access to Villa Auditore, which becomes a strategic base for the growing organization.

Mario is not the same mentor as Al Mualim, who leads the Brotherhood in the first Assassin's Creed. Achilles Davenport mentors Connor in Assassin's Creed III, while William Miles is a modern-day Assassin and the father of Desmond Miles. These different mentors belong to separate historical or modern storylines.
