What is the name of the artifact sought by the Templars in Assassin's Creed Syndicate?

The Templars seek the Shroud of Eden in Assassin's Creed Syndicate. This Piece of Eden is a powerful Isu artifact that can heal wounds and influence biological tissue.

The artifact's search drives the central conflict in the game's London storyline. Evie Frye investigates clues connected with the Shroud while the Templar Grand Master, Crawford Starrick, attempts to obtain it. The Shroud is eventually found in the vault beneath Buckingham Palace, where its powers become crucial to the final confrontation.

The Shroud is often confused with the Apple of Eden, the franchise's most frequently recurring artifact. Apples manipulate minds and project illusions, whereas the Shroud is primarily associated with healing and restoration. The Staff of Hermes is another distinct Piece of Eden and appears in Assassin's Creed Origins. All three belong to the Isu artifact tradition, but only the Shroud is the target in Syndicate's main plot.
