What is the name of the Apple of Eden carrier used by Altaïr in Assassin’s Creed?
Answer
Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad
Answer
Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad
Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad is the Assassin who carries the Apple of Eden in the original Assassin’s Creed.
During the game’s Third Crusade storyline, Altaïr obtains a powerful Apple of Eden after the raid on Solomon’s Temple. The artifact is connected to the First Civilization and can project images, manipulate perception, and influence people. Its possession becomes central to the conflict between Altaïr, the Templars, and his mentor Al Mualim.
The Apple is not merely a symbolic fruit. Within the series’ fiction, it is one of several Pieces of Eden, advanced artifacts created by the Isu, also called the First Civilization. Its abilities explain why both Assassins and Templars repeatedly seek control of it.
Desmond Miles is the modern character who relives Altaïr’s memories through the Animus, so the two are sometimes conflated. Altaïr is the historical carrier in the original game, while Desmond experiences those events from the present day.
