What is the name of the Animus user who frames Assassin's Creed Origins?

Layla Hassan is the Animus user who frames Assassin's Creed Origins. She is an Abstergo researcher who uses a modified portable Animus to experience the memories of Bayek and Aya in Ptolemaic Egypt.

Layla's unauthorized research reveals information that conflicts with Abstergo's official projects. After the present-day section begins, her discoveries draw the attention of both the modern Assassin network and Abstergo.

Origins was released in 2017 and serves as a historical origin story for the Hidden Ones, the organization that later develops into the Assassin Brotherhood. Layla also appears in later games, including Odyssey and Valhalla.
