What is the name of the Animus corporation in the Assassin's Creed series?

The Animus corporation in the Assassin's Creed series is Abstergo Industries.

Abstergo is a modern multinational company controlled by the Templars. Its research uses the Animus, a machine that lets people access genetic memories inherited through their ancestors. The corporation's public businesses and private projects give the modern-day storyline its central institutional antagonist.

In the first game, Desmond Miles is held by Abstergo and forced to relive the memories of his ancestor Altaïr. Later stories reveal that Abstergo is developing ways to commercialize genetic-memory experiences for a mass audience.

Abstergo Entertainment is a related division that appears in later games, including Black Flag and Unity. That name is narrower than the overarching corporation. The Assassin Brotherhood, by contrast, is an opposing secret organization rather than a company operating the Animus.
