What is the name of Tahani Al-Jamil's younger sister? Tahani's younger sister is Kamilah Al-Jamil.

Kamilah is introduced as an exceptionally successful, talented, and competitive figure whose achievements have long overshadowed Tahani's self-image. Although Tahani is famous, wealthy, and celebrated in her own right, she constantly compares herself with Kamilah and feels that her younger sister receives more admiration from their parents and the public.

Their rivalry helps explain much of Tahani's behavior in the afterlife. Her name-dropping, hunger for praise, and obsession with charitable recognition are tied to a lifelong desire to surpass Kamilah. The conflict is not simply about ordinary sibling jealousy; it is central to Tahani's emotional growth and eventual understanding of why she acted as she did on Earth.

Kamilah is played by Rebecca Hazlewood. She should not be confused with Manisha Al-Jamil, another member of the family, or with Tahani's friends and fellow afterlife subjects such as Simone Garnett.
