What is the name of Pokopia’s first paid expansion?

Bubbly Basin is the first paid expansion for Pokémon Pokopia.

Bubbly Basin is Part 1 of the game’s paid three-part expansion pass. It released in August 2026, adding post-launch content to Pokopia after the base game’s worldwide launch on March 5, 2026.

The expansion pass is planned as a sequence rather than a single add-on. The first part is Bubbly Basin, while the other two parts are scheduled for late 2026 and 2027. Nintendo describes the downloadable content as adding new towns, Pokémon to befriend, and new features.

The name can be confused with locations from the base game or with fan-created labels. Bubbly Basin is specifically the title of the first paid expansion, not the name of the opening wasteland, a habitat, or a character. It is also separate from free updates that add gameplay features.
