What is the name of Pokémon Pokopia's aquatic expansion area?

Bubbly Basin is the aquatic expansion area in Pokémon Pokopia.

The area appears in Part One of the three-part Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass. It gives players an underwater setting to explore and extends the game's habitat-building concept into a new environment.

Access to Bubbly Basin is tied to the Dive ability, which was introduced in a free software update. That update allows the player to move underwater and also adds the ability to build houses below the surface, giving the area a distinct construction feature.

The name can be confused with generic water-themed locations because Pokémon games often use words such as Cove, Shore, and Marsh. Bubbly Basin is the specific published name for Pokopia's aquatic expansion area, not merely a descriptive nickname for any water zone.
