Answer
Lamborghini Revuelto
Lamborghini’s plug-in hybrid V12 model introduced in 2023 is the Lamborghini Revuelto. It was unveiled on 29 March 2023 as the successor to the Aventador and became Lamborghini’s first true plug-in hybrid production car.
The Revuelto pairs a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 with three permanent-magnet electric motors and a compact 3.8 kWh lithium-ion battery. Two electric motors drive the front wheels, while a third assists at the rear. This arrangement gives the car all-wheel drive and electric torque alongside the response and sound of a high-revving V12. Its combined output is rated at more than 1,000 metric horsepower, depending on the specification quoted.
The Revuelto is sometimes confused with the Sián FKP 37 or Countach LPI 800-4 because both use hybrid assistance and Aventador-derived V12 technology. However, those earlier cars use a mild hybrid system centered on a supercapacitor rather than a full plug-in hybrid drivetrain. The Revuelto also introduced an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to Lamborghini’s V12 flagship line.
